LETSystem Exchanges operate in many areas of Australia and around the world.
The administrative system platform used in Australia is the
Community Exchange System (C.E.S.) and the smart-phone friendly site CES Mobi.
On each members' Personal Account Page, their Offers & Wants
are added to the directory of Skills, Services & Goods.
The Offerings & Wanted lists are usually emailed to each new subscriber
and each member is able to log in to their personal account
to view the lists - daily if they wish.
Transactions are recorded by each of the members on the CES website
and a statement of account is available to view by logging in to your Personal Account Page.
A local energy trading system (abbreviated to L.E.T.S.) is a locally initiated, not-for-profit community enterprise that provides a community information service and records the transactions of members exchanging their skills, services and goods by using locally created currency we call 'Rays'.
LETS allows people to negotiate the value of their own hours, goods or services.
